A population survey of general health problems in Karachi, Pakistan

Health problems that individuals suffer throughout the year in Pakistan can give us the statistics of which type of diseases prevail most in our society and what is the reason behind their cause and what measures can be taken to overcome them. This survey is conducted by our volunteer Mohsina Yousif, Facilitated by Sindh Biotechnologist Association.

    There are some questions that doesn't give options of some habits that a person abstain from doing it. Like the one above, regarding smoking. I don't smoke but there's no option of no smoke and it's compulsive question.

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is one of the top-most innovation and technique in the field of biotechnology and has aided to the success of different biotechnological and medical research and tests. The PCR technique, developed by Kary Mullis in 1980s, permits scientists to make multiple copies of a target DNA region, simplifying the analysis, and the manipulation of genetic material. A heat-resistant enzyme called DNA polymerase is used for replicating DNA in cycles of heating and cooling.
