Pursuing Biotechnology as a Career after Graduation: A survey amongst Pakistani Biotech Individuals


 Biotechnology has unlatched the uncharted territories of the world unknown, intriguing scientists worldwide to devise unimaginable solutions to emerging human problems. The Biotechnology program in Pakistan started back in the year 1985 and since then it has been existing in our universities as a degree of least priority. Most Biotech Undergraduates and Post-Graduates are seen switching fields as their last resort.
This survey would put forth a Biotechnologist viewpoint in this regard and help overcome challenges faced by our Biotechnologist community. This research is conducted by Nyma Alam with the collaboration of Sindh Biotechnologist Association.
